Control System
Temperature Control is managed through a micro-processor based profile
generator that provides accurate, automatic controlling of ramp rates
and soak temperatures.
Individual Set Point controllers serve as both a digital indicator of
zone temperature and as redundant controllers. They are easily configured
for custom temperature zones.
Indicator Lights On the control panel allow for an instantaneous status
check of heaters and contactor.
An attractive Custom NEMA Enclosure houses the instrumentation and power
system. Two large rear doors offer easy accessibility for maintenance.
The Heating System
Uniform Heating is accomplished by utilizing braided rope heaters attached
directly to a mesh covered insulation. The heaters are spread uniformly
across the blanket for even heating and provide for true conformity to
the curvature of the case.
Integral Heating Blankets provide for ease of installation and removal
by plant personnel. Typically, one man can remove the system in less than
an hour and reinstall it in less than six hours.
Heater Life is enhanced by the utilization of de-rated heater. The heaters
are attached and connected in parallel format to provide for automatic
redundancy. In the case of a failure, the remaining heaters will keep
that zone at temperature.
